Church Sounds and Looks Much
Better
Here are a couple of photos showing the changes in the
sanctuary. The (Before) photo is from earlier in the year
showing the BIG speaker over the pastor's head. The (After)
photo is from the January 3rd service at Dover Baptist Church
with our new sound system installed. It sounded great and Bro.
Early can rest easy now that a 100 pound speaker is now longer

Sunday morning,
December 20, 2020, Dover Baptist Church celebrated the birth of
our Lord, Jesus Christ through music and word. The choir sang

Carols, Cantata and Candles
On
Friday night, December 18, 2020, Dover Baptist Church held their
annual Carols, Cantata and Candles event. We had a good crowd
despite the Corona Virus. The choir sang portions of this year's
cantata, the 4th Advent Candle was lit by the Dover youth boys,
and Brother Ben delivered a short Christmas message. The service
closed with the congregation holding up candles and singing
Silent Night. If you missed it, you missed out. What a great way
to get yourself in the Christmas Spirit. To see more of what

government restrictions. We had a great meal that was catered by
Our Best. There was lots of good Christian fellowship for
everyone who came. What a great way to kick off the Christmas
Season. A BIG thank you to all those who stepped up to make this

Dover's Youth Girls Light the 3rd Advent Candle
On
Sunday morning, December 13, 2020, our youth group girls read
scripture and then lit the Advent Candle. It is so nice that the
youth are coming back to church and helping serve The Lord. Here
are some photographs from the service. Unfortunately, we missed
getting photos of the children lighting the 2nd Advent Candle
last week. The webmaster had left his camera in the car by
accident. Anyway, they did a great job and were lead by Janice
Say. Her group, Kidz on Fire is the children's program at Dover
Baptist Church. We try and include the entire family here at
Dover. To see more of what went on, click the photo. |
