Here are some photographs from
our Round Up Sunday service held on Sunday, October 11, 2020
at Dover Baptist Church. People were encouraged wear western
attire and to "round up" folks to bring back to church. We
had 72 in attendance despite the Chinese Corona Virus scare.
There was some great music and preaching! The choir sang,
"Old Church Choir" to start the service. The congregation
sang some old favorites, "I'll Fly Away", "I Saw The Light",
"On The Wings of a Dove", "Shall We Gather at the River",
and "Will the Circle, Be Unbroken." We had two guest
singers/musicians; David Stevens and David Martin who played
guitar and banjo respectively. David Martin sang, "His Hand
in Mine" which is a great Gospel song Elvis sang. We also
had a quartet (The Scrap Iron Quartet) that featured Jesse
Poe, Bro. Bradley Gray, David Stevens and David Martin. They
sang, "Glory Road." The preacher's message was, "I Believe
in the Church Gathering" Round'em Up! Scripture for the
sermon can be found in Hebrews 10:24-25. This service also
marked the return of the church bulletin. We have not had
them since the Corona Virus started. Amen! After the
service, everyone adjourned to the Family Life Center for a
boxed lunch of boneless chicken wings, potato wedges and
Too bad if you missed it.
Hopefully, we'll see you next week. October is Round Up
Month so we can still round you up!
